Lyn Goodman, LMSW (They/Them)

Serving NY

Holistic. Embodied. Grounded.
Hi, I'm Lyn! I came to this work to be part of building a culture grounded in care, empathy, reciprocity, and self-awareness. I want to support you in holding what you are carrying and help you move through and be present with your grief, while also practicing curiosity and discovering the beauty of this world.

My Approach

  • My lens is holistic, trauma-informed, culturally attuned, and anti-colonial, blending evidence-based modalities to fit your unique needs.

  • Communities I support (but not limited to)

    • Chronically ill and neurodivergent clients

    • BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and TGNC individuals

    • People with non-conforming life styles and relationship arrangements

    • Activists, community organizers, sex workers, and people impacted by state repression and burn out

    • Artists and people hoping to cultivate their creativity

    • People working toward unlearning internalized white supremacy and indoctrination into Zionist ideology

What Grounds and Moves Me

Herbalism

Let me listen to your story.

As an herbalist, I’ve learned from and connected with plants, finding in the more-than-human world hope, inspiration, and community that empower us to navigate life’s darkest moments and work toward a better world.

Mutual Aid

My liberation is tied with yours.

Community solidarity and reciprocity give me hope, showing that when we support each other, embrace our own power, and allow ourselves to be both vulnerable and present for others, anything is possible.

Cultivate your sense of play.

With 10 years as a performance artist, clown, puppeteer, and experimental theater maker, I’ve used performance to reconnect with my true self, embrace play and wonder, and imagine new possibilities.
